Celebrated on November 19th, Women’s Entrepreneurship Day was established by Women’s Entrepreneurship Day Organization (WEDO) in 2013 to bring awareness to the hundreds of millions of women and girls living in poverty and to help empower each and every woman in the world.

Wendy Diamond created the movement. She is an entrepreneur who wanted to ignite passion in women to drive economic expansion, initiate startups, and become leaders and innovators. You can help show your support for Women’s Entrepreneurship by putting the spotlight on women-owned businesses. Provide Social Support
Put your social media accounts to work by liking, sharing, and inviting others to like women-owned businesses in the area. Social media is a great way to draw attention to businesses with little effort. If you have patronized the business you are sharing, be sure to leave a review so others may learn about your experience.

Patronize Women-Owned Businesses
One of the easiest ways to highlight women-owned businesses is by patronizing them. When you spend your money at women-owned businesses, you provide them with financial support to help them continue their work. When asked about your purchase, let people know about the company. That helps put them in the public’s eye.

Offer Up Your Resources
